Sacred Square Attack Update

The investigations on the recent attack on the Sacred Square in Relacul have been completed recently, and we are here to share the findings.

The death count of the attack has risen to nine, as two injured civilians and two injured police officers died in Sacrei Eirodicu Hospital earlier. We salute their sacrifices and hope that their next lives are as valourous and virtuous as this.

One additional perpetrator was identified following the attack and detained. The Sacred Guard regiment volunteered to interrogate him; however, he committed suicide before they were able to begin the interrogation.

One day after the attack, a radio message was broadcast from the areas of Sacovia that are not under Caradian jurisdiction. Those who tuned in heard the voice of someone claiming to be named “Ròneau d’Àgrôvia” (Àgrôvia was an ancient Sacovian tribe), who pronounced that Sacovia was “returning, as L’Ordò Novi dè Sántaguiraz Sácòvique (‘The New Order of Sacovian Soldiers’), to reclaim its rightful place on Cáczichem from the imperialist Duchy”.

Following the broadcast, several leaders in Caradia (including Faròdico dè Sofriz, the leader of the Gcealick March, where most Sacovians reside) issued statements censuring Ròneau; most notably, living saint Òdalho dè la Corvèo wrote a letter to King-Saint Godrîc XI demanding the Duchy seize the opportunity and declare war against the terrorist organisation, allowing easy annexation of the territories in Sacovia. King Godrîc responded with an affirmation of military force against the terrorists, mobilising portions of our Legions and ordering construction of new military bases along the border with the Sacovian wilderness. Grand Inquisitor Corvèrre has also promised aid from the Flemic Church in the conflict.

Here is listed the names of those dead. May they be honoured with glory.
